The company will be shipping PDF2Office Professional v4.0 for the Macintosh platform in February 2008. PDF2Office Professional v4.0 is a major upgrade to PDF2Office Professional v3.1 the de-facto PDF-to-Office formats conversion tool for the Macintosh.
In addition to the more than 300+ new features and enhancements made, PDF2Office Professional v4.0 completely supports Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and is a universal binary.
PDF2Office Professional converts PDF documents to the Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, RTF and other formats recreating the intended construction and layout of the document - forming paragraphs; applying styles; regrouping independent graphic elements; extracting images; creating tables; and processing headers/footers, endnotes/footnotes and columns/sections, all automatically - without any manual intervention
PDF2Office enables you to recover the data stored in PDF documents - making them available for use by anyone. Since PDF2Office is a standalone product, it is not necessary to acquire and install additional PDF editing software and tools resulting in huge cost savings in both time and expense.

- Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard support
PDF2Office Professional v4.0 is fully compliant with Mac OS X 10.5 and is a universal binary. Converting PDF files to any of the supported formats executes natively on Macintosh computers equipped with either the intel or PowerPC processor.
- PDF2Office Desktop Server
PDF2Office is now based on a client-server architecture. PDF2Office Desktop Server performs the conversions, insulating PDF2Office and Microsoft Word from the conversion process delivering optimal performance on modern multi-core based Macs.
- Convert PDF documents to Web Page format
A new Convert to Web Page format conversion kind has been added; furthermore, the PDF to HTML conversion engine has been completely overhauled providing precise control over the conversion result.
- Static PDF forms editing
PDF2Office Professional v4.0 converts PDF documents that are static forms to the Microsoft Word/RTF format for easy form entry.
- PDF Reconstruction v4 engine
PDF2Office Professional v4.0 includes the latest PDF Reconstruction v4.1 engine, which provides improved performance and conversion results. Enhancements have been made to the layout reconstruction process augmenting paragraph formation, table recognition, columns construction and graphics processing.
